– When there is a front cover, first load the front cover.
– For details on loading originals, refer to “Loading the original” on
page 2-13.
– When fax is to be sent with the cover, the original is scanned in the
order of front cover, back cover, and double-paged text original.
3 Touch buttons in order of [Scan Settings], [Book Scan].
4 Touch [Book Copy].
5 Select the targeted end settings and then touch [OK].
– Touch [No] to cancel book-copy function.
– If [Separation], [Front cover] or [Front + Back Covers] is selected,
[Binding Position] is displayed. Select to match the binding orienta-
tion of the original and then touch [OK].
– Specify the “Book Erase”, if required. Select the erase method,
specify the deletion width with the keypad or [-] and [+] and touch
[OK].
