Configuring the Printer134
The System/Administration/Startup Options & Resets window provides
the following parameters for configuration:
Item Description
Energy Saver If no print jobs are sent to the printer for the time
specified by this parameter, the printer’s Energy
Saver feature is activated.
Choices: 15 Minutes, 30 Minutes, 1 Hour, 2 Hours
Default: 30 Minutes
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
MENU SYSTEM DEFAULT/ENERGY
SAVER
" 2 Hours is available on the model for America
only.
" The energy saver feature is disabled and
enabled from the Energy Saver Mgt.
parameter described next.
Energy Saver Mgt. Sets energy saver management on or off.
If On is selected, Energy saver settings are active.
If Off is selected, Energy saver settings are ignored.
Choices: On, Off
Default: On
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
MENU SYSTEM DEFAULT/ENERGY
SAVER MGT
" Only available in models for the Americas.
Reset Printer Reboots the printer.
Printer Name Sets the printer name.
Default: magicolor 2450
