6.2 Image Quality Adjustment

6.2.4 Executing calibration using the image controller

This adjustment method does not use [Color Density Control]. In general use, we recommend that you use

[Color Density Control].

This guide describes how to carry out calibration for daily maintenance using Color Centro and a colorimeter

(FD-5BT).

In addition, "Exact Color" or "G7 Calibration", which enables higher accuracy adjustment are available. For

details, refer to the [HTML User's Guide].

1 Start Color Centro.

% For information about how to start Color Centro, refer to page 4-9.

2 Click [Calibration].

3 Check that [Start Calibration] is enabled.

% If it appears dimmed, the color density

control is set to Enable. Change [Use

Color Density Control] to [OFF]. For infor-

mation about the setting procedure, refer

to page 6-16.

4 Select [Instrument] on the [Settings] menu,

then select [FD-5BT(M0)].
